Citizen Ride Along Program
Residents 14 years and older, with parent or guardian permission, can ride along with an officer for an entire shift and experience firsthand the challenges facing law enforcement. Not limited to children, it is also available to adults who may wish to learn more about a career in law enforcement or to get to know the Snowflake-Taylor Police Department firsthand. Volunteers in Policing
This program is designed to actively involve the residents of the community to participate in ensuring public safety. Based on the success of similar programs throughout the state, the Volunteer Policing Program includes formalized training and allows limited enforcement. Watch this space for more information!
