WALK-IN REQUESTS FOR A RELEASE

RECEIPT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED

TO THE VEHICLE OWNER:

If your vehicle has been IMPOUNDED due to the driver never having a valid driver's license, having a license that was suspended or revoked, violating a required interlock breath device, or having been arrested for extreme, aggravated, or underage DUI.

Hearing Request

You must request a hearing within TEN (10) days days of the vehicle impound. After the 10-day time limit, the vehicle will be held for TWENTY (20) days.

If you request a hearing, the hearing officer has FIVE business days to review your case. If your vehicle is eligible for release, the hearing officer will contact you to make an appointment for you to pick up a release receipt. If an early release of your vehicle is denied, and your vehicle is impounded for the full twenty (20) day impound period, the hearing officer will contact the registered owner to make an appointment to pick up a release receipt. The registered owner must present a valid drivers license, vehicle registration, proof of insurance, and a money order or cash in the amount of $150.00 made out to the Snowflake-Taylor Police Department when you pick up the vehicle release form.

IF YOU DO NOT REQUEST AN EARLY RELEASE HEARING, UPON COMPLETION OF THE TWENTY (20) DAY TIME PERIOD, THE REGISTERED OWNER MUST CONTACT THE HEARING OFFICER TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT FOR THE VEHICLE RELEASE.

When you pick up the vehicle release form, the registered owner must present a valid driver's license, vehicle registration, proof of insurance, and a money order or cash in the amount of $150.00 made out to the Snowflake-Taylor Police Department.
